Question sur l’instrumentalisation de l’économie

Merci pour ces compléments d’information. Pour vous répondre, nous avons cherché un ouvrage synthétique sur les nouvelles formes de capitalisme dans le catalogue de la Bpi.

L’ouvrage Economie de l’attention, nouvel horizon du capitalisme ? dirigé par Yves Citton en 2014 donne plusieurs pistes essentiellement dans le chapitre dédié à l’art : le chapitre 17. « Capitalisme artiste et optimisation du capital attentionnel » par Martial Poirson.

La première de ces pistes est l’art comme instrument de légitimation et de profit au sein du capitalisme contemporain. D’un côté, l’art s’infiltre dans l’économie, avec l’émergence de l’artiste-entrepreneur et l’art business ; de l’autre, l’économie adopte des paradigmes artistiques, menant à une « artification » des pratiques marchandes. Cette évolution est très liée à la montée en puissance de l’économie de l’immatériel

La seconde piste, liée à la précédente, est l’art engagé dans une économie de l’attention. L’artiste est confronté à la nécessité de se démarquer dans un marché saturé. A ce titre, des analystes économiques ont pu parler de « sémiocapitalisme » (Franco Berardi), de « capitalisme cognitif » (Yann Moulier Boutang), de « capitalisme vectorialiste » (McKenzie Wark), de « capitalisme émotionnel » (Sandra Laugier et Patricia Molinier), de « troisième révolution industrielle » (Rifkin) ou, bien plus massivement, de « neuroéconomie ».

La sortie de guerre est devenue un champ d’étude à part entière de la science historique contemporaine, tendance révélée par l’article de Bruno Cabane et Guillaume Piketty : « Sortir de la guerre : jalons pour une histoire en chantier », Histoire@Politique. Politique, culture, société, n° 3, novembre-décembre 2007.

Cet article recensait les travaux de recherche historique récents qui ont étudié la complexité des processus de sortie de guerre et il faisait valoir que la notion d’après-guerre, trop axée sur l’histoire diplomatique des guerres, était obsolète et devait s’effacer devant le concept de « sortie de guerre ».

Vous pourrez approfondir cette question dans l’ouvrage  Retour à l’intime au sortir de la guerre édités par Bruno Cabane et Guillaume Piketty aux éditions Taillandier qui est consultable à la Bibliothèque publique d’information. Résumé : Cet ouvrage réunit les contributions du colloque organisé en juin 2008 dans la continuité du séminaire que Bruno Cabanes et Guillaume Piketty ont animé à Sciences Po sur les sorties de guerre au XXe siècle. Le choix des objets, l’intime et la guerre, les a obligés à croiser deux historiographies dynamiques, au spectre d’intérêt très large. Celle du phénomène guerrier au XXe siècle – en particulier, du concept récent de « sortie de guerre » – et celle de l’intime, du for intérieur où se mêlent la question des corps et des sensibilités. Le croisement n’est pas artificiel car l’histoire elle-même semble nous y contraindre. En mobilisant la masse des civils et en en faisant leurs principales victimes, les guerres du XXe siècle ont pris « l’intime comme cible1 » et contribué à « la politisation des corps2 ». Devenues totales, elles ont fait de l’expérience de guerre l’expérience de tous.

Ainsi, le baptême est jugé important par 81% des sujets de plus de 65 ans, 72% de ceux qui ont entre 55 et 64 ans, 64% de ceux des classes d’âge centrales (35-54 ans) et des jeunes adultes (25-34 ans) et enfin 61% des plus jeunes (16-25 ans).</span></p>

Toutefois, l’enquête la plus récente (2007) n’a pas manqué de mesurer l’importance attribuée par la population aux rites qui célèbrent les étapes fondamentales de la vie : ces pratiques sont réputées très importantes ou essentielles par environ les deux-tiers des Italiens. Les rites considérés comme les plus importants sont les funérailles religieuses (70%), suivies par le baptême (67%) et par le mariage à l’église (63%). Bien sûr, ces évaluations changent selon les classes d’âges : les rites de passages sont plus importants pour les personnes âgées et les adultes que pour les jeunes, bien que ces derniers continuent majoritairement à les juger importants. Ainsi, le baptême est jugé important par 81% des sujets de plus de 65 ans, 72% de ceux qui ont entre 55 et 64 ans, 64% de ceux des classes d’âge centrales (35-54 ans) et des jeunes adultes (25-34 ans) et enfin 61% des plus jeunes (16-25 ans).</span></p>
